Caramel is considered, by many, to be an anerythristic form. Caramel is responsible for an increased visible amount of yellow in Corn snakes. As hatchlings, they do resemble Anery A corns. However, with ageing they develop increased yellow pigmentation, making them clearly different from other Anery corns.

I have the folowing caramel-gene morphs in my collection: Caramel Motley, Ambers (Hypo + Caramel), Butter (Amel + Caramel), Butter Motley's and Butter Motley-Striped; these are genetically the same as regular Butter Motley's but these animals have their motley-dots stretched out along their backs creating a stripe. They are sometimes referred to as "reverse-striped".
